one, that your hand fits and feels good with them. Now 7-9 is not on the value or "good" is based. Your hand will grow and you need a new, before you know it. I went to 3 Infielder gloves when I was 7 to 16 years old. It is probably the best infielder glove for a glove, long / short and outfield gloves, because they are universal. (about 13 inches tall) Gloves
